Wisconsin 2007 Statewide Traffic Incident Management (TIM) Conference
When: October 30-31, 2007
Where: Radisson Paper Valley Hotel, Appleton, WI
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation and the Wisconsin State Patrol
are pleased to invite you to the 2007 Statewide Traffic Incident Management
(TIM) Conference. This year's two-day conference will cover a wide variety
of topics including the National Unified Goal for TIM, Emergency Traffic
Control and Scene Management, National TIM and Emergency Preparedness Best
Practices and much more. The conference is being offered free of charge and
we highly encourage participation from all TIM stakeholders including
Emergency Medical Services, Fire, Law Enforcement, Public Safety
Communications, Towing and Recovery, Emergency Management, and
Transportation.
Registration Information
Included in the registration materials is a preliminary conference
agenda, the conference registration form and a map of WisDOT's regional
boundaries. In addition, this year we have developed an electronic
registration form for your convenience. If you prefer to use this form,
simply complete the form and either print and fax back or submit via e-mail
by clicking the 'Submit by Email' button at the top of the page. Please
note, you cannot save a completed copy of the registration form within
Adobe, so if you would like to keep a copy of the form for your records, you
must print it prior to closing Adobe. As space is limited, registration is
required and the registration deadline for the conference is Friday, October
19, 2007.
Accommodation Information
The conference is being held at the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel in Appleton
located at 333 W. College Avenue , Appleton WI 54911. If you require
overnight accommodations, you may contact the hotel directly at (800)
242-3499. A block of hotel rooms are being held until Wednesday, September
26, 2007 at the government rate of $62/night for single rooms and $89/night
for double rooms. To ensure these room rates, make sure to mention that you
are attending the Statewide Traffic Incident Management Conference when
reserving a room.

In 2006, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) and Wisconsin State
Patrol (WSP) hosted the first Statewide Traffic Incident Management
(TIM) Conference. The conference was a two-day event, held July 19-20,
2006 at Hotel Mead in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin.
